Dawaa (“the App”, “we”) is designed to help you manage and track medications for your family members. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data, especially health data. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use and protect it.

1. Data We Collect

Account data: your name and email when you sign up (with email, Google, or Apple).
Profile data: the names of the family members whose medications you track, and optional photos of them.
Photos & camera: when you choose to add a photo of a person or a medicine box, we access your photo library or camera — only with your permission and at your request. We never access them in the background, and only the photo you select is uploaded.
Health data: medication names, doses, schedules, dose history, and stock counts. Used solely to run the App's features.
Device & notification data: a push token (FCM) to deliver reminders, your app language to send notifications in it, and basic technical information needed to run the App.
Subscription data: your plan status (free/paid). All payments are handled entirely by the App Store and Google Play; we never see your card details.
Usage measurement (anonymized statistics): we record abstract events about how the App is used — such as “Add medication screen opened”, “dose logged”, or “reminder delivered” — so we can find where people get stuck and fix it. These events contain no medication names, no patient names, and no text you type — only counts and categories (for example, “medication form: tablets”, “number of doses: 3”).

2. How We Use Your Data

To run the App: save, display, and sync medications and schedules across your devices.
To send dose reminders and notifications.
To provide your adherence tracking and statistics.
To enable shared monitoring with family members or caregivers you authorize.
To manage and verify your subscription.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data or your health data to anyone. We share only the minimum necessary with trusted service providers acting on our behalf to run the App:

Google Firebase: authentication and notifications, and anonymized usage measurement (Firebase Analytics) with no health data and no user-typed text.
Apple / Google: to process and verify subscriptions.
Cloudflare: to store images and host our services.

We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

4. Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers, and a local copy is kept on your device so the App works offline. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or use. No system is 100% secure, but we strive for the highest level of protection.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete a profile or a medication at any time from within the App. When you request full deletion of your account, we delete the data associated with it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. 6. Children & Family Profiles

An adult user may create profiles for family members (including children or seniors) to track their medications. The user is responsible for the data they enter about others and for obtaining their consent where required. The App is not intended for children to create their own accounts.

7. Your Rights

Access, correct, or update your data.
Delete your data or your account.
Withdraw your consent to notifications at any time from your device settings.

8. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed or stored on servers outside your country of residence by the service providers listed above, and remains protected under this policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the “Last updated” date.
